Welcome to KidsPosters.org, your resource for posters that will let your kids use their imaginations and express themselves. Most kids go through many periods where their tastes and interests change as they grow. Cartoons and super heroes are put aside and sports figures and movie characters take over. Hello Kitty becomes Hello Hannah Montana. Poster art is a inexpensive way to let them decorate their rooms with the latest hot trend.
Most of us can relate to using posters to fill our walls with our favorite music idols, movie characters or sports legends. If your kid is into motocross or racing, posters of dirt bikes and hot cars might be their preference.
Disney movies and shows have given us untold numbers of characters that have been plastered all over children’s rooms for years. Princesses, Pirates, Kings and Queens stimulate the mind and teach life lessons in ways that are fun and educational.
Comic book characters from companies like Marvel, and DC Comics come alive in poster art and many stories have been transfered to the movie screen, which creates a huge demand for related products. Spiderman, Hulk and Iron Man from Marvel are good examples. Digital art has made the subjects in posters seem to jump right off the wall. Being able to see their favorite heroes and villians displayed on their walls makes their rooms more personal.
No matter where your kids gravitate toward, the list of available poster art is unending. Harry Potter, X-Men, Transformers, Cinderella, Cars, and Shrek are fantasy characters, but sports stars from football, baseball, basketball and soccer decorate a lot of boys and girls walls.
For some of the older kids, posters from movies like the Twilight saga are extremely popular. Bella and Edward are characters that mirror some of the teenage angst that shows up during these formative years.
Kids posters can also be a great addition to a Birthday or other themed party. Hanging posters that match the plates, napkins and cake decoration is a great touch.
Not all posters for kids are commercial in nature. Big sunflowers, travel vistas, even replicas of famous paintings by masters, like Van Gogh, offer good choices, so don.t limit your search to cartoonish fare. Researching and purchasing posters online gives you the opportunity to find the perfect solution for decorating with poster art.
Letting your child have a say in how they want the posters to be displayed is important. They may want to have something different from what you want, but are uncomfortable going against your wishes. Give a kid a poster from Kids Posters.org.
When I was small I shared a bedroom with my brother. The walls on our room were covered by Liverpool FC posters on one side and Man Utd posters on the other what a conflict!
Of course the United pictures were always the best.
Can’t wait for my son to grow up a bit so I can persuade him that Manchester United is the way to go!
My son’s whole room adorned with various posters. Some seem to me just terrible! But I tolerate it.
When I was younger I had a lot of posters on my wall also. Kids will go through a phase but its ok, that’s part of growing up.
Personalised wall art like posters and canvases work great – and as the kids get older and their tastes change, they are easy to remove, unlike alot of decals and stickers that leave marks.
